FAQ

  • WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THERAPY AND COACHING?

While I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, what I offer here is not therapy. Therapy is a clinical service that involves diagnosing, treating, and managing mental health conditions. It often explores your past, trauma, or emotional patterns at a deeper level, and it’s meant to support people who may be struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges.

    Coaching is different.

Clarity Coaching is about helping you explore what’s getting in the way of your goals, reconnect with yourself, and take aligned, intentional steps forward. It’s future-focused, collaborative, and action-oriented. We may talk about emotions, patterns, and mindset but not in a clinical or diagnostic way.

If you’re in crisis or need therapeutic care, I encourage you to connect with a licensed therapist in your area. If you’re looking for a space to reflect, reset, and grow, you’re in the right place.

  • How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you're feeling stuck, in transition, emotionally drained, or unsure about your next steps, coaching might be the reset you need. It’s a space for clarity, reflection, and action. You don’t have to have it all figured out, you just have to be willing to show up.

  • WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN OUR SESSIONS?

Every session is a conversation. You bring what’s real for you, and I’ll help you explore it with care and intention. We’ll unpack what’s getting in your way and build a plan that aligns with who you are and where you want to go.

  • IS THIS COVERED BY insurance?

No. Coaching is not considered a clinical service and is not eligible for insurance reimbursement. All sessions are self-pay.
